Hi – my name is Sassy and guess
what? I got rescued by HMDD! I’m really happy about that ‘cause things
could have turned out very differently for me. Sometimes I kinda walk a
little funny with my back legs so I think that’s why my former humans
surrendered me to the local shelter. HMDD made sure I got to go to the
vet. Turns out I have this condition called Dancing Doberman. The vet
said I should live a normal life as long as I have my medication to help
with occasional pain. It only costs about $30.00 per month. I still
love to play and go for walks. It hasn’t affected my personality
whatsoever. I am still a fun loving girl who just wants to find her
forever home. I like to sleep on my doggie bed and chew my toys. I get
along great with my foster Dobie siblings. I am house trained and know
all my basic commands. Hey – you know what else? I don’t need to be
crated when my foster parents leave the house! Yep, I am one all around
good girl. I really like it when I get petted and I always return the
favor with a gentle Dober Kiss! That makes me really special. I am
truly a wonderful dog that will fit in just about any home environment.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, foster mom is taking me to the next
adoption event so I hope you can come too. You can pet me and I can
give you a kiss! (Hint, hint…then you can take me home with you!!)
