Hey…do you know what is sweet, “white”, and has three legs?  It’s me, Ana!  I just want to shout out loud and tell everybody how happy I am.  I was a wandering around when I got picked up as a stray and rescued by HMDD.  My left front leg was badly broke and I couldn’t walk on it.  I got to go to the vet to get my leg fixed.  Unfortunately, the doctor could not save my leg.  He said it looked like it had been broke for a long time.  Doc also said I must have had a hard life ‘cause it looks like I had been bred several times.  I heard my surgery was very expensive but HMDD said I deserved nothing less than the very best. After I woke up from my surgery, I was amazed at how much better I felt.  I don’t miss my leg at all.  I am actually pain free and I am already running around.  My foster mom is working hard to help me forget about my past.  She pets me alot and I am learning to trust people again.  I should heal just fine and be ready for my forever home after my recovery.  My foster parents can’t get over how sweet I am – I love to be petted and I have never met a stranger.  I am learning all my basic commands and foster mom says I am a fast learner.  I get along great with other dogs and I am even house trained and crate trained.  Make sure to pet me at the next adoption event ‘cause I like my lovin’!
