Foster homes are urgently needed!
We are faced with the reality of having to turn away Dobermans and we desperately need your help. There are dogs we cannot help because we simply do not have enough foster homes. Before you decide that fostering isn't for you PLEASE take a moment and check out our Spring Newsletter, it contains facts about fostering you may not have realized and testimonials from those of us that do foster. Fostering is a rewarding experience and a chance to make a difference to one of these wonderful Dobies and the people who adopt them.

FORE!!!!!! Join us Friday June 13th at the Rolling Meadows Golf Club for the 1st Annual HMDD Golf Outing. This year it will be a scramble and we will be teeing off at 1PM. The cost per golfer is $100.00 which includes your fees, cart, welcome bag and dinner. We'll be having a Longest Drive Contest as well as a closest to the pin, longest putt and other fun. Don't golf? Then please consider sponsoring a hole. The hole sponsoring fee is $100.00. Fees and your players list are due by June 1st.  Checks should be made payable to HMDD and mailed to 2158 Shawnmont Ct. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF LOCATION: We will be holding our next Adoption Event on Saturday June 7th from noon til 2 at Cedar Creek Kennel in Bellville, Ohio, just south of Mansfield. Cedar Creek Kennel provides training (including agility, obedience and bird dog), boarding, grooming, canine massage and doggy daycare services. They are located at 4716 Algire Road, Bellville, Ohio 44813. Their phone number is 419-886-4030.In addition to the adoption event, they will be doing Canine Good Citizen testing. Hot dogs, chips and beverages will be available. Volunteers, adopters and potential adopters are permitted to bring their own dogs. Up to date shot records will need to be provided which they can fax to 419-525-4376 prior to the event or bring them to the event. That need may be financial or just giving information and/or moral support for the owner of a Doberman with a serious illness or injury.
